Your Inspiring Smile
with Aligners

The clear comfortable way

What Are Aligners?

Clear aligners are a modern alternative to braces, that straighten your teeth using a series of custom-made, removable trays that are almost invisible! Each set of aligners, gently moves your teeth, little by little until they’re beautifully aligned.  They’re removable, comfortable, and barely noticeable - perfect for patients who want a discreet treatment option!

What Makes Aligners Great

  • Nearly invisible - smile confidently throughout treatment.

  • Removable - eat and clean with ease.

  • Comfortable - smooth, no metal or wires.

  • Effective - custom-designed for your unique smile.

Why You Might Need Aligners

Aligners can help with:

  • Crowded or overlapping teeth.

  • Gaps between teeth.

  • Bite problems (like overbite, underbite, or crossbite)

  • Teeth that have shifted after past orthodontic treatment

In short, aligners help create a healthy, balanced, and confident smile that looks and feels great!

What To Expect

  • A little pressure or tightness each time you start a new set - this means they’re working!

  • Mild changes in speech for a day or two- practice talking and it quickly feels normal.

  • Some aligners may have small attachments (tooth-coloured bumps) that help guide your teeth - these are temporary and subtle.

How They Work

Your custom aligners are designed to move your teeth step-by-step.

  • Step 1: We take a 3D digital scan of your teeth — no gooey impressions! Hooray!

  • Step 2: Dr Luke carefully shapes your treatment plan to help you achieve a confident, inspiring smile.

  • Step 3: When your aligners arrive, you’ll wear each set for 1–2 weeks, before switching to the next one.

  • Aligners work best when you wear them 22 hours a day, only removing them to eat, drink (anything other than water), and brush your teeth.

  • Step 4: Over time, your teeth gently move into their new positions.

Quick Tips

  • Wear them full-time (22 hours/day)

  • Keep them clean and safe

  • Always carry your aligner case

  • Call us if they feel loose, cracked or don’t fit properly.

Eating and Drinking

  • Take your aligners out when eating or drinking anything other than water.

  • Avoid hot drinks while wearing aligners - they can warp the plastic.

  • Rinse your mouth and aligners      before putting them back in.

  • Enjoy all your favourite                    foods- no brackets or                          wires to worry about!

Keeping Them Clean

Brush and rinse your aligners every morning and night.  Use room temperature - never hot.

Clean your teeth after meals to keep aligners crystal clear.

Store them safely in your aligner case when not in use.
